This is a private & selective roleplay blog for Kai Hiwatari from Explosive Shoot Beyblade/Bakuten Shūto Beiburēdo by Takao Aoki. This blog derives from both manga & anime inspirations but is mainly headcanon based. This depiction of Kai Hiwatari will also follow Kai into his elder years past the ending of G Revolution & thus, this theme will have depictions of Smoking, Drinking, Coarse Language, Suggestive Dialogue, Violece and other NSFW themes. Was the word he wanted to say; the word he wanted to INGRAIN within her mind & keep her wary—at arm’s length. There was truth in her statement though. Kai had never sought to HURT her. How could he? What reason did he have for him to splash her with words of ANGER? What reason did ANYONE have that were on the receiving end of his tongue lashing? Many did nothing; they were merely CASUALTIES. There was a chance that she too, either with or without his foresight, will become one too.
It would be best to shoo her away. End this NOW & spare her anything else. Kai did not trust himself ENOUGH to not revert back to bad habits. The need for them was no more. THERE WAS NO NEED TO HIDE HIMSELF ANYMORE. Grow. Learn. Do different. Such things that were easy for most seemed foreign for him.
BE DIFFERENT. DO DIFFERENT.
If only all of us can be so COMFORTABLE as to put permanence on such a statement. Ever. Nothing was perpetual; even LIFE came to an end. Its just a matter of when.

[ SMS: Kai🌟]: Now I feel like I need to think of something clever for you! I always just add symbols next to the person’s real name.
[ SMS: Blackbird ]: Some names I don’t really care to remember so I put something I can associate with them in order to have some sort of vague recollection.

[ SMS: Kai🌟]: I wasn’t panicking. Panic and concern are two very different things.
[ SMS: Kai🌟]: See, those are the kinds of things I mean! Sometimes it’s just nice knowing I’m being conscious about the words I choose. Like when writing poetry.

[ SMS: Blackbird ]: And both ensue the same responses from the body and the mind. The intensity varies but still the same. [ SMS: Blackbird ]: Yes. Nicknames. The names in the phone. Example: Yours is blackbird. Yuriy is blue ol’ blue eyes. My assistant is underpaid. You get the idea.
[ SMS: Kai🌟]:I like to take those extra few seconds sometimes. It’s really hard to know someone’s tone when you text them, so I like to be careful to make sure what I’m saying sounds like what I actually mean.
[ SMS: Kai🌟]:Breaking in? I haven’t noticed you change your phone recently. Aren’t there other people you send text messages to?
[ SMS: Blackbird ]: To each their own I suppose. Who am I to question what is necessary for others. It is our differences that make us unique, right? As many love to point out. [ SMS: Blackbird ]: I’m a tad bit offended you asked me that. [ SMS: Blackbird ]: Before you have a panic attack—I was being sarcastic Hotaru. Breathe. And the answer is no. I don’t text anyone. They text me, I read it, I call back—not a lot of people have this number anyway, or a suitable nickname.
[ SMS: Kai🌟]: It’s kind of easier then talking though, isn’t it? You get to have a little more time to think out what you want to say to someone before you send it!
[ SMS: Kai🌟]: Besides, this way I know I’m not taking your attention away from other important things you need to do.
[ SMS: Blackbird ]: Easier for who exactly? I don’t need the time to think about what I’m going to say. What I say is what I mean—which is probably why people are the way they are around me. [ SMS: Blackbird ]: It matters very little to me but, if you find this befitting, I don’t mind breaking in the texting features on this phone. [ SMS: Blackbird ]: And yes, you read this right.
